The Driftwood - Coastal Sea Ranch retreat with hot tub & fireplace

Every sunset here feels like a private show -- the Pacific puts on its best for this home. A warm fire and ocean views anchor cozy evenings in. Room for 6 in this 3-bedroom home. A short walk from the heated community pool. Your front door opens to Sea Ranch's 50 miles of trails and the wild Sonoma Coast. Watch for whales from multiple vantage points throughout the home.

Find the perfect place for your favorite people to gather at this bright, private Sea Ranch home, where a spacious layout makes it easy to spread out and still stay connected. Relax in a private courtyard with a hot tub, step out to the deck for a distant ocean view, and enjoy a location that puts the golf course, Del Mar Recreation Center, and downtown Gualala within easy reach—all just minutes away.

Scenic hiking trails are accessible from the property. Del Mar’s heated outdoor pool, tennis courts, and saunas are less than a half-mile walk from the house, and the oceanfront Bluff Trail is only about a block farther—so coastal walks and sunset strolls stay simple.

Enter by way of a sheltered courtyard, where you'll find the hot tub, a gas grill, and cushioned outdoor seating to enjoy in the afternoon sunshine. Inside the main part of the home, you'll be greeted by a two-story great room with generous windows and a gas fireplace to warm you as you watch movies at night. This space blends into an open kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a large island with bar seating, and an adjacent dining room table. An expansive deck - with hammocks, loungers, and rocking chairs - wraps around the house and is accessible through multiple glass doors.

The second-floor loft is a spot to escape with a good book, set up your laptop, or enjoy a board game. When it's time to turn in, you'll find that each bedroom has its own bathroom and direct access to the outdoors, including a primary suite, a soaking tub and a shower, and a separate dressing room. The third bedroom is in a detached casita across the courtyard with its own shuffleboard table, refrigerator, and workspace.

Wildflower season (April-June) transforms the coastal bluffs into a tapestry of color -- worth an extra walk on the trails. Summer offers long days and warm afternoons, though the iconic Sonoma Coast fog often rolls in at sunrise and clears by noon.

Cell service can be spotty along the coast. The home has WiFi for staying connected. Parking is available but the garage is locked off for owner use. Note: you cannot hear the waves from this home. There is one TV in the home, located in the living room. The primary suite does not have a TV.
