Monte Rio Dream - Dog-Friendly Redwood Cabin with Hot Tub and Deck

Sink into your private hot tub as redwoods tower overhead, their scent mingling with the woodsmoke from neighboring chimneys. This coral-colored A-frame welcomes you and your pup with contemporary comfort wrapped in classic cabin charm. Room for 6 in two bedrooms plus a sleeper sofa. Just 0.8 miles to Monte Rio Beach and 0.2 miles to Northwood Restaurant. The Russian River's unhurried rhythm sets the pace here — kayaking, golf, and riverside dining all within minutes.

Spend mornings on the deck as mist lifts off the Russian River, afternoons floating the river or visiting Korbel and Joseph Jewell tasting rooms, and evenings around the firepit with the day's bottles.

An open great room holds two seating areas — sofas around a leather ottoman, plus a burgundy reading chair — all framed by forest through large windows. Abstract artwork pops against white walls and honey-toned wood trim. Dramatic black granite with bold veining tops the U-shaped kitchen, with light wood cabinets and a French door fridge alongside the gas range. A peninsula seats four for bar dining beneath a skylight — coffee at sunrise lands here, every time.

OUTDOOR LIVING
The expansive stone-tiled deck becomes your outdoor living room. A wicker sectional creates a lounge area, a high-top table with bar stools invites alfresco meals, and the gas grill handles evening barbecues. Then slip into your private hot tub as stars peek through the redwood canopy.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
Two queen bedrooms — the first with glass doors to the deck, the second with built-in closets. Both showcase exposed beam ceilings and forest views. A queen sofa bed in the living room accommodates extra guests. Sleeps 6.

• The home's radiant floor heating keeps you cozy on cool forest mornings — no traditional AC needed as the redwood canopy and cross-ventilation naturally cool the space even on warm summer days.
• Your smart TV connects to your streaming accounts for movie nights.
• The Pack-N-Play in the closet makes traveling with little ones easier.
• Monte Rio's charm lies in its authentic, unhurried pace — this isn't a resort town but a genuine river community where the dress code is swimsuits and sandals.
• Cell service can be spotty under the redwoods, but the home's internet keeps you connected when needed.
• The primary renter must be 21 or older.
• For the best river experience, bring water shoes — the rocky riverbed makes them essential for comfortable swimming.
• Highway 116 runs through town, so you may hear some road noise, but it quiets considerably at night when the forest sounds take over.
